Description

Warwickshire is seeking to commission a single provider to develop, implement and evaluate an arts programme for people living with dementia and for their carers. The service will provide arts for wellbeing programme for people living with dementia and their carers. This should be a participatory arts group programme. Regular 6-week programmes, for at least 42 weeks of the year will be provided. These courses will run free of charge for the participants. The number of participants per group should be in line with national guidance regarding coronavirus restrictions. The provider will coordinate and provide a range of creative arts activities. Arts activities can include but not be limited to drawing, painting, poetry, ceramics, mosaic, textiles, dance, music, singing, drama, photography, film and reminiscence therapy. The provider should work with participants to ensure the programme content is coproduced, to meet the needs of those with dementia and their carers. The provider should deliver courses for people living with dementia and carers. The courses should be made accessible for these groups.
