Supply of Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA) - Equipment for Corrosion and Oxidation Experiments

UKAEA intend to appoint a supplier for the manufacture, supply, install and commissioning of Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA) equipment that can offer Thermogravimetric (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analyses for understanding oxidation behaviour of STEP relevant materials under the extreme environment of a fusion reactor. It is anticipated that the contract will start on 28 October 2022 and the successful economic operator will deliver the equipment by 1 March 2023.
