Leadership in the arts and culture sector

The research project will focus on areas currently covered within Goal 4 and, more specifically, on how leadership is developed within the sector. Underpinning this goal is the ambition to ensure organisations demonstrate effective oversight and governance, as well as ensuring our leadership is diverse and able to lead a culture that facilitates creativity, innovation and resilience. This research is designed to be an integral and public part of the strategic consultation. It is crucial that this research is future-facing and allows Arts Council England to build on its existing commitments as it transitions to the new strategy from 2020.
