Description
The aim of this project is to equip The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) with the information required to review and consult on options, including the use of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), for tackling environmental issues associated with specific products which fall under the broad headings of bulky waste and certain materials in the construction and demolition sector. EPR is a policy approach in which producers are obligated to take financial or practical responsibility for their product when it becomes waste.
