National Highways Strategic Road Network assurance 2021-22

An independent expert review from an organisation with civil engineering expertise to assist in evaluating the appropriateness of National Highways' condition based depreciation methodology for structures and road assets, in support of the 2021-22 financial audit opinion for National Highways. The requirement is likely to evolve and/or recur in future audit and as such an option to extend will be exercised at the NAO's discretion should it be required.
