3 Years - Collection, Transfer and Final Disposal or Treatment of Residual Waste (including mixed dry recycling)Arising from the Isles of Scilly

The collection, transfer and recycling or final disposal of municipal waste (EWC 20 03 01) in the form of dry mixed recycling and a blend of 'black bag' waste and shredded bulky waste typical of that generated at a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).The contractor will be expected to collect the laden residual waste and recycling containers from the Marine Haulage Contractor at Penzance, transport them to a suitable waste recycling, disposal, treatment or recovery site for recycling or final disposal/treatment and return the containers as per the waste transfer schedule. The schedule is subject to seasonal variation, tide and shipping times. During the Contract Period, a combined volume of mixed recycling, black bag waste and shredded bulky waste is anticipated to be up to 4500 tonnes.
