Nexus Foundation Special School ICT Managed Service

Nexus Foundation Special School (NFSS) is an ambitious special school for children and young people with profound, severe and complex needs, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum. NFSS caters for children ranging from 2 to 19 years at its site in Upper Haysden Lane, Tonbridge. Historically, the school employed its own ICT technician. This arrangement finished in November 2020. This procurement is for a full managed service for a period of 5 years. At a high level this will comprise of the following: For the purposes of this shortlisting stage bidders should assume that the ITT will include, but not be limited to; • onsite support based on a 50% full time commitment - 5 mornings a week • a core 41 week service with options for additional weekends • service desk and service desk software • staffing that bidders deem necessary to deliver the SLA • responsibility for design, specification, installation and management of all ICT infrastructure • management of all ICT against an agreed SLA • management of 3rd parties • relevant monitoring, management, patching and reporting • training - technical and curriculum as necessary • expectation that the provider will drive innovation • risk registers and inventory management • strategic direction of ICT advice to the School • procurement of equipment based on agreed VfM Bidders should download the full details and application document from the schools website at: https://www.nexusschool.org.uk/1430/ict-tender-1
