Description
This contract is for Louisa Centre Minewater Borehole. This tender is to find a suitably contractor to drill a borehole, as per the provided Coal Authority specification, to assess the potential to utilise the minewater within the Louisa Centre building, Stanley Co Durham. Testing will need to be carried out in order to assess temperature, flow rate, and depth of water. This procurement exercise is subject to the following: • Funding being approved by Regeneration and Local Services Management Team of Durham County Council. • The successful Contractor must complete the Coal Authority Access Agreement • The successful contractor must obtain all permits in line with the environment agency. Should the Council be unsuccessful in obtaining all funding the Project may be modified accordingly, (unless an alternative funding source is identified). Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of sufficient funds being available and/or modification of the Project. Site Visits Site Visits can be arranged for Bidders and further information regarding the coordination of these visits will be forwarded to Bidders once requested via the NEPO Portal messaging facility following the release of the tender documentation.
