Description

MAG Procurement intends to initiate a multistage, regulated tender process to establish a five-year agreement with a suitably qualified supplier for the provision of Uniform and PPE across all MAG airports. The contract will include a two-year extension option, offering flexibility to accommodate future operational needs. Suppliers participating in the tender will be pre-verified for their capability to deliver the required goods, ensuring quality and reliability from the outset. The contract will cover the provision of operational and corporate uniform, specialist workwear and PPE to support airport operations across MAG's UK airports and associated business units. The scope is expected to include product supply, garment management, distribution, and ongoing service support.

The proposed contract will include optional extension periods, exercisable at Manchester Airports Group's discretion. The initial contract term is expected to be five (5) years, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional one‑year periods, giving a maximum total contract duration of seven (7) years. Any extension(s) may be exercised to: Ensure continuity of uniform and PPE supply across MAG airports and business units Support operational stability, including ongoing uniform refresh programmes Allow sufficient time to complete a future re‑procurement where required Respond to exceptional operational, commercial or business continuity circumstances Extensions will be subject to: Satisfactory supplier performance Continued value for money Compliance with contractual terms and the Procurement Act 2023 Manchester Airports Group is under no obligation to exercise any extension option.
