Description
Manchester City Council is seeking to engage with potential providers of psychological support services to understand the market's capabilities in providing group reflective practice and serious incident response sessions to frontline staff within the homelessness service. These sessions will provide frontline staff with a safe and confidential forum to process challenging situations and explore ways to improve their practice. The purpose of this commission is to improve the psychological safety and wellbeing of frontline homelessness staff which will in turn support the delivery of psychologically informed services. Group reflective practice sessions would be scheduled at regular intervals depending on the needs of each specific team. Serious incident response sessions would be scheduled in response to a serious incident being reported. A response to a serious incident report should be received within one working day, with a serious incident response session to be scheduled within 3 working days of the incident, or at the earliest available opportunity for the person(s) involved. The provider would be expected to delivery face-to-face sessions at venues across Manchester and virtual session, depending on the needs and preferences of different teams.
