Description
Peterborough City Council appointed a supplier of Managed Print services to provide the most efficient and effective approaches to managing all print and document related services and deliver large savings. The supplier will provide a service approach as opposed to equipment centric to enhance to Councils staff experience and provide a platform that provides the Council with opportunities to fulfil its requirements that could mean integration of machines from multiple contract into a single coherent system. The scope of the contract: Mono and Colour multifunctional devices, digital copiers, network printers, scanners all with standard network interfaces. Options, including paper storage/feed, finishing, print controller/RIP, memory, postscript, hard disks, fax etc. Automatic ordering of Consumables, including toner and staples Software for clustering, print management/accounting, print routing/load balancing, email distribution, optical character recognition (OCR) Maintenance and Support including on site training Surveys - essentially fact finding about existing kit, networks, principle flows and page output, ideally with vendor neutral analysis and proposals.
