CLEAPSS 2022

CLEAPSS provides health and safety compliance services for the delivery of safe and practical teaching of physical subjects to pupils from KS1 up to and including 6th form students. The service provides helpline,website, newsletters, guidance, model risk assessment templates, Hazcards for the delivery of science, D&T, Art and food safety. The service is intended to help local education authorities comply with their legal obligations under the health and safety at work act 1974 and subsidary regulations. CLEAPSS is unique in its constitution and the services it offers to schools. No other organisation is set up to assist schools in this way and the service is used by 177 local authorities in England Wales and Northern Ireland
