Description

Public Health England (PHE) wishes to procure the Alcohol and Drugs Education, Prevention and Information Service. The service will be a platform for sharing information and resources aimed at schools and practitioners working within drugs and alcohol prevention services. Requirements: 1. The provider should have direct experience of delivering such service. Supporting the use of evidence based information and tools for alcohol and drugs education and prevention within schools as well as a range of other settings for reaching young people. 2.The service will also be required to provide expert seminars(please note: if you cannot provide the first part of this requirement- you will not be allowed to provide the second part (this section)- of the requirement) on key evidence based programmes, and provide lesson plans and tools for teachers. It will quality assess newly developed programmes and promote them through established networks of schools and prevention practitioners. PLEASE NOTE: Suppliers who will provide the first part of the above requirement may be allowed to use subcontractors for the second part of the requirement.
