Description
Following recent engagement work NHS England is looking to secure providers to deliver a comprehensive veterans’ mental health service across England. Providers must be capable of delivering the service across a wide geography which may include via a lead or prime contractor model. Providers must also demonstrate how they will link with appropriate and relevant third sector organisations to ensure that the needs of veterans are met. Future veterans’ mental health services should: • Be capable of providing a comprehensive mental health service that at least meets the requirements of the Mental Health Five Year Forward View. • Liaise with the Ministry of Defence to support service personnel leaving the armed forces. Please note this is a market assessment exercise to gather generate interest. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement.
