CBC-1212-FC-31-CB Sutton Lower School Works - AWARD

Call off via further competition under LOT 2 of the CBC Construction Framework. Works involve • New build modular hall over existing soft informal play space modular classroom which mirrors an existing modular classroom of the same layout installed in circa 2019. • Reorganization and alteration to parts of the existing school building which will create spaces required under the BB103 guidance. • The new build blocks will be connected via hard formal paths and hard formal playground between the blocks and retaining the existing hard external play space. • As part of the Section 77 Application, the loss of external spaces will be compensated by the installation of a Proposed 'Multi-Use Games Area' (MUGA) with storage which will help the school better meet its needs for PE and sports provision for Year 5 & 6. • A small amount of demolition and strip out works is required to part of the internal layout which includes internal partitions to be removed to form a Practical Space and stripping out works to the former servery. • other minor adaptation will provide a First Aid room as well as refurbishment of Early Years Foundation Stage WC's Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can in order to help guide you through the Tender process.
