CY06080 - CHANCET WOOD SPECIAL PRIMARY PROVISION

The project comprises the refurbishment of an existing Sheffield City\r Council building to bring into use as a satellite hub for two Sheffield\r schools to increase their capacity in order that they can accommodate\r more students with special educational needs.\r The works involve:\r • Creation of new partitions\r • Blocking up of old doorways\r • Small power re-wire and amendments to lighting\r • Minor mechanical amendments\r • Reallocation of existing space\r • Decoration\r • New floor coverings\r \r The building is split into two halves either side of a communal entrance.\r The half of the building where works are not to be undertaken is used for\r social care and will remain in occupation 24 hours a day. The contractor\r shall ensure that all works are undertaken with this in mind, and that\r minimal disruption is caused to adjacent occupiers. Works in the\r communal entrance shall be programmed by the contractor in conjunction\r with adjacent occupiers.
