Selworthy Satellite

Selworthy Satellite Building (also known as Wellington Youth Centre and/or Court Fields Pre-School) is located to the west of the market town of Wellington, c. 7miles south-west of Taunton. Somerset Council own the freehold of the building. The current leaseholder is leaving the building and The Oak Partnership Trust are going to be the new leaseholder. Prior to the Trust occupying the building, there are numerous changes required to the internal layout to suit their pupil needs. Some pupils have special need requirements, so the design has factored in requirements to provide a safe space for the pupils and staff. The new space will encourage independent learning and living as well as a suitable outside area. To address these existing deficiencies, the Employer has commissioned the delivery of a reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing Wellington Youth Centre.
