Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Framework

City of York Council wishes to award a framework agreement for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The Framework will be for a period of 24months/2years with an option to extend for a further period of 24months/2years. Therefore the total possible Contract duration is 48months/4 years (24 months + 12 months + 12 months). Details of the framework are as follows: • • Location - City of York • Project Value - £4,000,000 for the contract term. Approx. £1m per annum. • Number of Trade Categories - 27 • Maximum number of Trade Categories a contractor can bid for - 10 • Maximum number of Contractors on a Trade Category - 3 • Framework Call off Procedure: Primarily Direct Award (based on highest ranking company, this will be on a ranking mechanism) and option for Further Competition if required.
