The Widnes Town Centre Redevelopment Framework

We are purchasing a Regeneration Framework which will take Widnes Town Centre from Vision stage to the identification of delivery projects. The Framework will supplement the Local Plan to drive forward a regeneration programme for the Town Centre, incorporating both projects where it is necessary for the Council to take the lead, and also to identify and promote projects where the private sector will take the lead- ensuring it all works together to create a place that improves quality of life for the community.\r The end product will be a Regeneration Framework in the form of an online and physical document that will be in the public domain.
