CF-AWARD-712540453 - Procurement of Armour Plates

The Dismounted Close Combat (DCC) Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), has awarded a 1 year supplies contract for the procurement of LWA IV+ SA04 Armour Plates from NP Aerospace Ltd (NPA). The Authority will be undertaking a Single Source Contract due to the "Technical or Exclusive Rights" held by NPA as the OEM and sole provider of this equipment. The estimated total contract value is £110,000 (inc VAT), below the DPSCR 2011 Threshold for goods. Therefore, a contracting authority is not required to publish a Voluntary Transparency Notice (VTN) or observe a standstill before awarding the contract.
