The Navy has an ongoing requirement for in-service provision of Submarine Air Purification equipment availability and capability for vessels that are under the control of Navy Command Head Quarters (NCHQ). The requirement for Submarine Air Purification Equipment Support (APES) is covered by several Master Equipment’s and materials fitted to submarines. This is inclusive of the Trafalgar, Vanguard and Astute class submarines and any new classes of submarine that may be introduced during the lifetime of the air purification project.
