Description
The National Park Authority are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake rock scaling and maintenance and engineering works on the Authority's Monsal Trail. The trail comprises former railway lines and therefore the works are on ex railway cuttings. The works involve repair and maintenance work to the structures. There is a wide range of works to be carried out which are all detailed within the tender pack. However, the works include: • Rock scaling • Repairs to rock faces • Removal of trees and vegetation • Removal of loose stones etc • Filling voids in walls/stonework • Repointing to stonework A full tender pack including details of the scope and location of the works can be obtained once an expression of interest in received by emailing matt.freestone@peakdistrict.gov.uk and requesting the tender pack reference 'Monsal Trail - Scaling to Rock Cuttings'
