Description
The overarching aim of the service is to significantly improve the experience of people visiting Oxford, whether for work, shopping or living in Oxford. • To provide 4 staff who can work flexible hours • To work 7 days per week, 8 hours per shift, excluding lunch breaks • This service is to provide a stewarding resource in Oxford City Centre and other areas of Oxford, if and when required • To assist visitors to the City Centre to comply with the Covid guidelines • Welcome and provide information to shoppers and tourists including directions • Respond to incidents and accidents • Keep a watchful eye over the public realm areas of the city centre • Assist in preventing street crime by offering high visibility patrols • Officers will be based within the Community Safety Service at St Aldate's Chambers.
