Description
The HIV Peer Support Service will work closely with newly forming partnerships to implement a universal offer of peer support as an integral part of the HIV pathway, supporting people newly diagnosed and those lost to follow-up to help people to self-manage, deal with HIV related stigma and improve their well-being. Patients will be identified and offered screening within the emergency department at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust and offered the peer support service. A provider has been identified who covers the geographical area of the ICB. This is a fixed cost contract. The contract is below threshold and this transparency notice is signaling our intention to direct award a contract to this provider for 2 years.
