Description
BEIS is seeking to procure a delivery partner for the Climate Finance Accelerator Programme (CFA). The CFA is a technical assistance programme which supports developing countries to improve the in-country 'supply chain' of bankable, low-carbon projects. It does this by convening policymakers and project developers from participant countries with capital market practitioners in workshops, and/or similar events, which focus on mobilising finance for 'real world' projects. The concept has been tested in several pilot activities, and given their success, BEIS is scaling the CFA into a £10m, five-year programme, which could support up to 12 countries. A call for competition is being published to appoint an external partner to lead the delivery of the CFA programme, under the supervision of BEIS. A Call off Competition was carried out under the FCO's (now FCDO) Prosperity Fund Framework. This Contract Award notice is publishing details of the awarded Contract of this competition.
