Description
The service will target men over the age of 40, in the areas of highest deprivation. An accessible and age-suitable football provision can help increase the healthy life expectancy for men. Physical activity reduces an individual's chance of developing cardiovascular diseases and helps maintain muscular and joint health. In addition to this, mental and physical health problems can affect an individual's willingness and ability to participate in sport or team activities.
