A highway asset management system holds data on all aspects of highway maintenance and street works activity, schedules highways and street works inspections and provides up-to-date reports on all highway and street works activity. It is therefore critical in terms of understanding our position on all types of work being undertaken on the highway asset, informing current and future programmes of work.
