CCFI18A22 - Provision for Ill Health Insurance for GCO

The Cabinet Office, wishes to procure ill health insurance cover for its employees on behalf of the GCO. GCO is an employer of senior commercial staff across government. It offers unique terms and conditions to its specialist employees, including a pension which is outside of the My Civil Service pension offer. This pension does not include ill health retirement or death in service insurance. Ill health retirement and death in service insurance cover has been provided for the last year but that cover is up for renewal on the 2nd of January 2019. For the avoidance of doubt, this particular insurance requirement is for Ill Health Insurance only for GCO employees.
