Auchencrosh Synchronous Condenser Project

Moyle Interconnector Limited ("Moyle") is procuring an EPC contract to supply and install a synchronous condenser at its Auchencrosh site in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Moyle, a subsidiary of Mutual Energy Limited, owns and operates a 500MW HVDC electricity interconnector between the electricity networks of Northern Ireland and Scotland, which facilitates the trading of wholesale electricity between the Single Electricity Market in Ireland and Northern Ireland and the GB electricity market.Further details will be provided in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire ("PQQ") and / or the Invitation to Tender ("ITT") documents.
