Description
The Centre for Process Innovation Ltd (CPI) requires the following; CPI's Formulation platform has a requirement for a freeze dryer for lyophilising aqueous based emulsions of suspended nano and micro-particles for applications in various industries. The scope of this contract will also include the supply of consumables/spare and replacement parts and any servicing and maintenance requirements following the warranty period. The range of samples to be freeze dried could include solid core nanoparticles, biological cells and/or systems that contain API's (active pharmaceutical ingredients). The freeze dryer should be able to dry samples at temperatures below -40 °C using programmable recipes and be able to monitor the temperature of samples throughout the freeze drying process and can be controlled remotely by computer.
