Description
Wycombe District Council are proposing to enhance existing facilities at Totteridge Recreation Ground, High Wycombe. The works will consist of the design, supply, installation and testing of: •A continuous circular tarmac path around full perimeter of recreation ground •The installation of a variety of outdoor exercise equipment at intervals along the newly constructed path, to create a trim trail. •Other recreational equipment will include a seating hammock, in-ground trampoline, ball wall and outdoor table tennis tables, as well as a selection of new benches located around the new path and close by to the recreational equipment. •Seating plinths and tables in the central portion of the recreation ground. •A new grass cricket square. •Soft landscaping which will include new ornamental shrubs, native hedges and semi-mature trees. •Ancillary works will consist of relocating equipment already in use within the park such as goal posts and a seating shelter, in addition to the removal and making good of the existing artificial cricket wicket. Works shall be carried out in one phase, under a JCT design and build contract, with mobilisation to site starting August 2018, with the project completion anticipated to be Late November 2018.
