Description
Stakeholder consultation on proposals for the renewal of property licensing designations in Newham 2021. The aims of the consultation are therefore as follows:- To comply with the Council's statutory duties in relation to the proposed discretionary licensing process. To give a detailed explanation of any proposed designations, explain the reasons for the designations, how it will tackle specific problems, any potential benefits and to allow for intelligent consideration and response. The need for any proposed designations. Put forward alternatives to any proposed designations and any advantages and disadvantages. Present the Councils preferred choice and the reasons for its preference. Outline who will be affected by any new designations. Outline the impact of any new designations. Gather views and opinions to inform and shape the possible 3rd generation of PRS licensing proposals including - Fee levels - Incentives and support for landlords and private tenants - Conditions - Geographical area to be covered
