Description

Riley Close, Austin Way and Humber Close are located on Royal Oak Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Daventry town centre. The works include over-cladding the existing roof structures to three industrial unit blocks on Riley Close and 2 three industrial unit blocks on Austin Way & Humber Close. The new roof covering is to be metal profile sheet system to match the existing design and incorporating 100mm insulation. The existing roof coverings are to remain in situ with a new over clad roofing system being installed. The Estates are active industrial estate with multiple tenants. Access roads are provided to all units for vehicular access, restricted parking is available on the estates. Primarily there is a need to improve the deteriorating fabric of the building to fulfil the new regulations for the EPC assessments in 2018. The existing roofs are proposed to be over clad to improve the appearance, lifespan and to comply with new Regulations in 2018. The building's thermal performance will be improved and condensation defects and cut edge corrosion problems at the property will be resolved. Roofing works are to cover: Austin Close - 22 Units, Humber Close - 5 Units, Riley Close - 13 Units.
