Description
Following completion of the restoration works, the Heritage Lottery Funded Castle Project is now focused on delivering an improved cultural offer through the site, and generating increased income to ensure its long term sustainability. The Activity Provider will develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of activities to engage the local community and learners of all ages and visitors with the heritage of Oakham Castle. The programme will be delivered over a period of 18 months, from April 2019 to October 2020 and during this time the following services should be provided: • Major heritage events • Smaller local heritage events • Heritage-based education events • Creative workshops • Volunteering events • Specific events for older people
