Description: 12-month procurement of specific Chorus intelligence suite modules identified together with hosting within the Chorus cloud environment. The requirement has been implemented during the testing phase and will be sustained as Chorus goes live, allowing for potential future increases in licences. The contract must be in place by 01 May 2024. The FIIU engages in open-source research and analysis to support broader Service Police investigations within the Service Justice System (SJS). The existing hardware and software infrastructure, situated on a standalone LAN at the Service Police Crime Bureau (SPCB), has become obsolete in light of the rapidly evolving landscape of digital policing. Consequently, there is a need to modernize and enhance the capabilities of the FIIU to transform it into a fully operational and credible law enforcement agency. This procurement initiative aims to upgrade and modernize the FIIU's capabilities, addressing the pressing challenge posed by the exponential growth of digital crime in the UK. Extensive market research has identified the Chorus cloud intelligence suite as the optimal solution to meet the business requirements of the Service Police. The Chorus platform, operating as a secure private cloud, is specifically designed for UK law enforcement agencies engaged in digital investigations with a focus on open-source material.
