Development of Plan B Fiscal & Policy Proposal

Further to the presentation of fiscal and policy recommendations to grow UK maritime business to the Minister on 7th October 2020, it was agreed that further work should be commissioned with Ernst and Young (EY) covering the following:-Lead and facilitate two one day workshops with MCA and DfT to develop a 'Plan B' package of fiscal and policy proposals to cover the eventuality of the UK operating outside EU state aid guidelines, in readiness to submit to Minister by 30thNovember 2020-Where possible, provide economic forecasts against the proposals to form part of the submission.
