1-954 Electric Vehicle Mapping

Highways England wishes to engage a technical consultant for the development of an electric vehicle (EV) and Hydrogen mapping report. This EV Mapping Report will inform Highways England's policy development and will support and facilitate the implementation of charging and other infrastructure required to enable current and future uptake of EVs to operate on the Strategic Road Network and prepare Highways England for operational challenges. The development of this mapping report will support Highways England's strategic objectives of decarbonising road transport, improving air quality and supporting the Government's policy on EVs. Note that mapping, in this context, means investigating and setting out the relevant trends, issues, information and so on to form a contextual map from which Highways England can make operational and investment decisions.
