Description
The Community Meals Service delivers hot, ready to eat food 7 days a week to over 250 residents in Bristol. Customers can choose a range of preferred meal (as well as tea and breakfast meals) based on a 21 day cycle menu. There are also specific menu's for special dietary requirements. As part of the service, we provide a wellbeing check during delivery where the driver can support with plating a meal, fetching cutlery or getting a glass of water. We want to identify a software package that can help manage our supply chain process and customer data handling. As a minimum, the key feature requirements from the software are: - Customer Data Management - Staff can input and store Customer Information including personal details, next of kin details, Customer Meal Preferences, customer individualised requirements (plating meal etc), important information relating to the customer (i.e. they have dementia), Customer Correspondence Record. - Stock management system where we can view stock availability, input stock deliveries and forecast supply demand based on customer needs. - System automatically assigns meals to customers based on preference, what is on the menu and what is in stock. This then generates a daily Stock Pick Information sheet for the storekeeper to prepare the right meals for customers on a set route. - Customers can be assigned to driving routes. The system will then generate on a daily basis route plans which contain information on - customer address, customer meal choice, delivery information, any other relevant information. The driver then follows these route plans. - System will produce invoice information based on individual customer orders which can be submitted to Bristol City Council Accounts Team to send out invoices to customers. - Produce performance reports.
