Description
Leicestershire Police is a UK based police force serving the communities of Leicestershire and Rutland. Over the last decade there has been a marked increase in the number of technological devices that are issued to officers which necessitates them being stored in a secure place and at the same time being electrically charged up between shifts in order that they are always fully charged before commencing duty/deployment. Currently the stock of Airwave lockers are being used, but not being fitted with sufficient power sockets and connections is proving problematical. They need to be replaced with lockers that have individual separate and secure compartments which can store one x lap top computer (laid flat); one x Reveal RS2-X2 Body Worn Video Camera; one x Blackberry D-TEK50 Mobile phone and one x Airwave Radio device. Each compartment is to have the means to safely charge four electrical devices and to be ideally one x 13amp standard three pin socket and three USB connections (but could be two and two). Approximately one hundred lockers will be purchased to be distributed to seventeen sites throughout Leicestershire
