Description
Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) seeks to drive service improvements and expand outcomes for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). The Council commissioned a specialist 16+ UASC supported accommodation service in 2022/23, however, the current demand for accommodation for 16+ UASC outweighs existing capacity. Therefore, the Council is looking to commission a Supported Lodgings Service for Looked After Children and Care Leavers aged 16+ who are seeking asylum. The Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified provider to manage, recruit, train, and support hosts. This provider will also liaise with the Council to ensure appropriate matching of young people to these hosts, along with providing suitable ongoing support for the young people. This is a new competitive procurement process using an open procedure conducted in accordance with the light touch regime of the Public Procurement 2015 Regulations and advertised in the Find a Tender Service Find high value contracts in the public sector - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
