EST LJMU 19/05 Refurbishment to Joe H Makin Drama Centre 2019

The work consists of the internal and external refurbishment of the Joe H Makin Drama Centre at 1 Hope Place, Liverpool L1 9BG consisting of the overhauling the slate and flat roofs and associated lead work and rainwater goods, repairing brickwork and decorative stone and render features, repairs to external doors and windows, internal joinery and damp proofing work, preparation for replacement floor covering then a full internal and external redecoration of all new and previously painted surfaces. The buildings will be vacated for the duration of the work, although teaching staff may occasional require access to the teaching rooms or offices and therefore means of escape must be maintained at all times. Access is limited for parking and scaffolding may limit space to the main entrance. On street parking is available but chargeable by the local authority.
