Description
Cormac Solutions Ltd needs an efficient, dependable, affordable and well managed supply chain to meet its operational objectives. Material and service requirements need to be met promptly to allow work programmes to be undertaken without delays or interruptions. This project allows Cormac Solutions Ltd to source its surface dressing binders and bitumen products from competent suppliers at a competitive price. Products will have to meet a British Standard and be endorsed under the Highways Agency Products Approval Scheme. Technical requirements will be defined in the tender paperwork and products will be evaluated and trialled if necessary. The Framework Agreement is divided into 3 Lots as follows: Lot 1 - Surface Dressing Binders; the scope of this Lot comprises the supply of polymer emulsions, including the provision and effective management of suitable mobile storage tanks, for surface dressing operations. The intention is to award this lot to a sole supplier. Lot 2 - Packaged Bitumen Products; this Lot includes the supply of all packaged bitumen products required for highways maintenance and construction, to our Stores situated in Bodmin and Scorrier. The intention is to award this lot to a sole supplier. Lot 3 - Bulk PEN Bitumen; this Lot includes the supply of bulk PEN bitumen to our quarry, situated at Castle-an-Dinas, Ludgvan, Penzance. The intention is to award this lot to a sole supplier, though mini competition exercises may be used for specific projects (if this option is used, tenderers who have successfully met the quality requirements for this Lot will be invited to submit formal quotations).
