Stoke Newington Library Internal Refurbishment Design Architect

Stoke Newington Library ("SNL") is a grade II listed building belonging to London Borough of Hackney, and currently has some significant elements of disrepair. The condition of the building has deteriorated due to rainwater ingress via the roof. Remedial works are already underway to repair and restore the roof and external facades and the next phase of the restoration of the library is the internal refurbishment. The purpose of this contract is for the Architect to produce a number of design options for the internal refurbishment of the library (RIBA Stages 0-1) and to provide cost estimates so an informed decision can be made about which option to take. During the contract, regular site attendance, attendance at contractor meetings and progress reporting will be required.
