Description
Essex County Council conducted a single stage procurement to commission a Multiple and Complex Needs Service to support individuals who are ordinarily resident within the administrative boundaries of Essex, (excluding the unitary authority areas of Thurrock and Southend-On-Sea). Following the expiration the current Offenders with Complex and Additional Needs Service on 31st March 2024, the new Multiple and Complex Needs Service contract will commence on 1 April 2024. This service is commissioned under an initial five (5) year term with the option to extend for a maximum of up to 48 months, i.e 4 years (2+2) at the Council’s sole discretion; thereby resulting in a maximum possible contract duration of nine (9) years. Please note that the total value of the procurement as stated in section II 1.7 below reflects the cumulative effect of the pricing submission of the successful bidder for a maximum possible contractual duration of nine (9) years.
