Description
West Northamptonshire Council is issuing this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice to inform the market of its intention to establish a compliant framework for the supply of essential goods and services to West Northamptonshire Council’s Temporary Accommodation (TA) portfolio. The purpose of this engagement is to alert and engage with organisations currently delivering, or interested in delivering, the supply of essential goods and associated services. The proposed Framework will support the rapid turnaround of Council-owned Temporary Accommodation properties to minimise void loss and reduce reliance on higher-cost nightly paid accommodation. To support a diverse and flexible range of provisions, the framework will be separated out into seven LOTs that providers may bid for. The proposed lots include: Lot 1: White Goods - supply and installation of appliances Lot 2: Carpets and Flooring - supply and fitting of flooring Lot 3: Cleaning Services - void, Landlord clean, and reactive property cleans Lot 4: Beds and Mattresses Lot 5: Statutory gas and electrical inspection, servicing and repairs Lot 6: General reactive repairs and maintenance
