Description
The Engine House is a Grade 2 listed three and four story, course limestone built building. Originally built in 1840, the building was extended in 1870 and 1903-8 to its current structural layout and forms in an L shape. The ground floor of this building has some public access. Historic England requires a Facilities Management Contractor to deliver the following at all times: o Buildings that are compliant, safe and secure o Provide a single point of contact for all FM related faults, issues and requests for service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year o Ensure the effective operation of the critical plant in the Archive building to achieve strict environmental conditions o Well presented, clean, comfortable and fully functioning facilities for customers and visitors. Suppliers may express interest in Hard Facilities, Soft Facilities or both. The return date for Standard Questionnaires to be returned is 21st September 2019 , Historic England envisages inviting 5 suppliers for each lot to tender based on their SQ returns.
