Description
Professional consultancy services comprising; two packages: 1. Package 1: Project Management, Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent; 2. Package 2: Clerk of Works (all disciplines) to support the delivery of a design & build and refurbishment works at training facilities in Lincolnshire, England and Moray, Scotland. There are two projects in two locations; a. Design and Build at Lincolnshire (construction value in the region of £26M) comprising: o Demolition and Enabling (Demolition, Groundwork preparations, Diversion and removal of underground services, Provision of safe and secure working areas, Site Access and security) works, o Refurbishment of two storey training building of approximately 1500m2, o Construction of two storey training building of approximately 4800m2.. b. Design and Build at Moray (construction value in the region of £17M) comprising: o Demolition and Enabling (Demolition, Groundwork preparations, Diversion and removal of underground services, Provision of safe and secure working areas, Site Access and security) works, o Construction of two storey training building of approximately 4600m2. Construction contracts will be let under a JCT 2016 Design & Build contract. The design has been completed to RIBA 3 prior to tender. Deliverables: Package 1 • RIBA Stage 4 through to RIBA Stage 7 consultancy services: o Project Management o Quantity Surveyor o Employers Agent Professional services team to: • Lead, direct and develop the project participants. Be accountable to the project sponsor for the project's successful completion on time and within budget. • Assesses the financial impact and profitability of the project, ccontrolling and managing the costs. • Act as the Employer's Agent administering the terms of the contract Package 2 • RIBA Stage 5 through to RIBA Stage 6 Clerk of Works (all disciplines): o Architectural, o Civil & Structural, o Electrical, Mechanical and Public Health Site-focused roles providing assurance to the client (BAE Systems) and their appointed representatives that the development is constructed in accordance with contractual requirements e.g. safety, quality, workmanship, approved design / materials requirements. This is a multi-discipline work package comprising Architectural, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Public Health.)
