Description
NHS Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group intends to appoint a contract for primary medical care for patients who have been immediately removed from a Buckinghamshire practice due to a violent or threatening behaviour. Services under the contract are: • Assessment of all patients removed immediately from Buckinghamshire practices for suitability to be placed on the SAS • Care of patients placed on the SAS • Assessment and support to Buckinghamshire CCG and member practices in the management of patients who are deemed to be difficult to place The Contract will be for 3 years and be awarded to Bassett Road Surgery, the only provider to have expressed interest in previous procurement exercises. This practice already provides similar services for Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Estimated on current figures which are subject to change (rise or fall), the contract value is an estimated £35,000 per annum with an estimated total value of £105,000.00 over the life of the contract.
