Brief description: Homelessness Prevention Officer - Agency Staff (posts for a minimum period of 2 months) The role is temporary to reduce a backlog of outstanding approaches for homelessness services. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Housing Solutions Service to provide an effective and professional person-centred approach to the prevention and relief of homelessness. To undertake a holistic approach to casework including the assessment and investigation of homelessness in line with the Councils statutory duties. This is a challenging and high-pressured environment, working with vulnerable families and customers with varying needs. If you feel you are up to the challenge then we want to hear from you. Candidates must have a minimum qualification of GCSE Maths and English level 2, or equivalent, and have a knowledge of homelessness. There will be a requirement to be present in the office for some days each week. We are looking for candidates with CV evidence of knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act. Qualification requirement: Numeracy & Literacy Level 2 Please note the charge rate on each candidate CV.
