​​Consultancy Services - DSA​

An urgent award of this contract is required for operational reasons. A procurement exercise was undertaken to seek an investment partner and operator for DSA and wider SYAC. This failed to obtain a partner on the commercial model proposed. Subsequently the Council have amended the commercial model but have retained the services provided by those parties who were previously part of the procurement to support the reopening of the Airport by Spring 2026. This contractor needs to quickly mobilise with the necessary skillset & back-to-back arrangements to ensure the reopening programme moves at pace and meets the operational start date. Failure to do so will result in additional time being expended at a critical point during the lease tenure.
